Matt “thejoose” Sprigg Lands Ground Zero Sponsorship

Matt Sprigg, known as thejoose on the Talk Audio forums has just sold his soul!
Well it isn’t really a full deal-with-the-devil job, it’s with Connects2, the UK distributors of the hugely potent Ground Zero brand of car audio kit. They are in fact possible whole-industry-future saviours as makers and researchers of the stuff that is needed to ‘crack’ modern cars’ OEM castles of interlocking electronics by making seriously complex fascia replacements with the tech needful to add pukka aftermarket headunits to cars where previously it “couldn’t be done.” All while keeping all that woven-in stuff still working. It is amazingly clever stuff and I have a video of what they are doing to show you later (filmed at their offices) – once the press embargo is lifted in February, as ‘zackly which motors they are cracking right now is a bit hush-hush!
Yours truly got wind of the corporate plan to place a few Ground Zero  woofers in the cars of the more impressive and then I heard about Project Big Black and the team of psychopathic nutter-technos that thejoose has behind it and I got one of those evil Svengali-esque ideas like I did for my oldest and bestest mate in the Bizz, Ian ‘Iceman’ Pinder. (That’s just so he don’t feel I’m being unfaithful…..Sweetie!)

For the simple fact is, this man is dangerously well equipped with talent, drive, crazed bass headed-ness and above all a righteous streak with proven track record, which is the hardest thing for wannabe demo-car kit bestowers to actually find. For the path to an install that can conquer all before it can be tough.
There will be blood, sweat and tears and you’ll be able to follow it all here on Talk Audio as well as directly upon the Project Big Black blog that Matt’s been working on already. The poor man is so excited he’s ready to go off pop and has been incredibly grown up about waiting patiently. (That last is a real journalistic lie…he’s been hopping from foot to foot and going ‘Ooooh!” from time to time, in fact!)
The big beefy Shogun selected to be the canvas for this likely-to-impress-your-pants-off power install is already being worked on and will first be lined with Ballistic brand sound deadening stuff and will be at the Mobile Electronics News expo having its major installation of wires by Tsunami put in it. You’ll be able to go and see Matt and call him a Lucky, Lucky Bleeder and then remind him he has to do well in competition now…just to see him look stressy.
For joose wants success so bad he can taste it, he’s entering dB Drag racing, Bass Racing, Propper Droppers (sic), Ground Pounders and EMMA’s ESPL format too, with an ultimate declared urge to get to the World Bass Race finals to be held simultaneously in Europe and the USA in October 2010, with a  live internet-connected WORLD FINAL. It’s a toughie and we’ll be with him all the way.

The bass end is to be Nuclear range fifteens and 2kw amplifiers, eight sets of each……
