Audison Voce Brings Thesis Attributes to the Masses

Audison has launched an entirely new range of Car Stereo Speakers based on the multi award winning Thesis line. Typical of Audison’s relentless development ethos, Voce contains many technologies and materials developed specifically for the High-End Thesis programme.
The Voce range includes separate components as well as complete two and three-way systems as well as coaxial speakers which incorporate a rotatable tweeter to optimise response at the prime listening position.
Mid range and woofers feature an open air design with aerodynamically designed spokes for the basket which drastically reduce back-wave reflection. The cone is made from a mixture of cotton and pressed paper finished to prevent cone break-up and reduce total harmonic distortion. A super lightweight copper clad aluminium wire is used for the voice coil to ensure super fast response whilst a radial venting system keeps things cool.

Tweeters are made of Tetelon, a mix of silk and cotton which provides a low mass and is resonance free up to ultrasonic frequencies. The rear chamber which contains a proprietary damping material has an annular geometry which helps extend the lower frequency range and reduces total harmonic distortion.
 

Bespoke systems can be built from the separately available components or enthusiasts can purchase matched 2-way systems featuring either 5in or 6.5in woofers.
Audison Voce AV K6 was recently awarded the European In-Car Speaker System 2010-2011 by EISA, a panel of 60 journalists and editors from magazines from nineteen European countries who were particularly impressed at the linearity, low distortion and efficiency of the system particularly at this price point.
