Meet the JL Audio Gotham. Arguably the best home woofer for scale with accuracy..and Rayner has tested some serious ones. HUGE output but absurdly fast and it STOPS like a jet on am aircraft carrier – dead. It sounds good, as it is made of two inch thick fibreglass. This takes ages and many passes to cut through and the special machine seen here goes through TWO DIAMOND tipped router bits a week, doing just this job.

Then, check the excursion. As I filmed this, one of the engineers nearly had a kitten behind me, as he had no idea I was supposed to know what I was doing, poor man, ALL the JL staff looked happy to be there.
