200mph is now a ‘thing’…

This, along with the absurd amounts of power that can now be wrung out of a single litre of engine displacement, makes me feel like a damn dinosaur. I mean, a hundred bhp per litre is bloody passé these days and in the Max Power era was seen as the work of automotive alchemists only.

But it was YouTube that really rubbed my nose in it. Last night watching a video about an Audi RS6 with 1070bhp, the young blokes were talking about a 100 to 200 time. I actually imagined it was 60mph to 120mph..as in kilometres and then being all young and youthful and all… but no, they were talking about 100mph to 200mph. They actually knew about this and had experienced it.

It made me feel, old and scared…
