Week Thirty – Two: In Which I Had Another Mad Weekend

Like the weekend before, in which I had a bit of a contrast one day to another, (fishing lakes Saturday, porn star Pool Party Sunday!) this last was ridiculous. Moving and a little difficult emotionally to go to a Sikh funeral on Saturday of a friend in his thirties. I got to pay my last respects at the temple and was honoured to speak at the crematorium, too. Then on the Sunday, it was Ultimate Street Car at Santa Pod and the crazed Hertz cars full of their SPL Show line of stuff on the Four stand. Two ‘SPL Monster’ amplifier installs and four show cars, all hooked up together to be used as the PA for a DJ set by various talented digital DJs through the day on the ubiquitous set of Pioneer CDJ decks. Expect to see that feature this week.
I still have four of the fabulous fake-karabiner equipped Fusion lanyards after sending every one of the ten winners a message, so get thy SAE to me, soon, if you are one of the four or I might offer them out again while there’s still some show season left to use them in!
Also, I can announce the winner of the Fusion active CS-AT1100 ten inch bass tube was hydr0, or rather hydr0’s sister’s car as she is getting the £120 prize after his entertaining Swag entry. He sent me an SAE off as well, so is getting double dibs on the lanyard thing, since I just stuffed and sent his SAE back on autopilot. I’ll go off to Interparcel now then
Hoping to get some reviewing done but MeJulie is taking some time off and our lad is fresh back from a month in Thailand, so I’m going to grab some family time and stay wed!
Oh yes, and I promised I’d shout out for Ross Barndon, who has a problem finding some old school Kicker amps, he wants A ZX600 and a ZX360, so if anyone has some and wants to flog ‘˜em, then PM me and I’ll put you in touch.
