JL Audio for less – Not Done Often!

The lovely, sweet fellows who feed the hamsters that keep Car Audio Direct’s computers running and the e-retailing site cooking, have some news for us. As Talk Audio Approved E-retailers, I am allowed to tell you about the odd mad deal going. This is a current one, lifted frankly from their site but for £169.99 instead of £279.99 for quality bass from a top brand, this is a Summer Billy Bonus and a boon to the bass-hungry with posh tastes! In the first a few stories like this, I see no reason why TA shouldn’t tell you of the bad ass deals as they happen with our chums in the trade…
“This high power JL Audio 12” bass package includes a WX basswedge enclosure powered by an ultra compact JL Audio JX series amplifier.
The JL CS112-WX BassWedge sealed enclosure features the fantastic 12WX subwoofer. For tighter and more accurate bass without taking up a lot of space the WX sealed BassWedge enclosure is a perfect solution for performance and reliability. Like all JL Audio subwoofer drivers, the 12WX is centered on a long excursion, DMA-optimized motor system, supported by JL’s patented Elevated Frame Cooling and a highly linear suspension. This means it delivers lots of low-distortion, high-quality bass with all types of music.
When you inspect the JL Audio JX250/1 amplifier, you will see that nothing is spent on gimmicks, blue lights or chrome. Instead, JL Audio apply their no-nonsense, pure performance philosophy to specify oversized output transistors and rugged MOSFET power supplies that ensure ample current and thermal capacity. These beefy parts operate well under their limits to deliver stable performance and vastly better reliability than the wimpy devices commonly found in many competing products. It all adds up to solid bass definition and cleaner, louder high frequency output that gets the most out of your speaker system. The JL Audio JX 250/1 JX monoblock subwoofer amplifier is specifically optimized for superior sub-bass performance.”
Point is, it aughta be £280 but is £170. Fill yer boots…literally!
DUE to CMS issues, it just took 15 minutes to add this link…which is my fault as I really should have thunk to include it….
