TA Gets SA-3055 RTA

It can measure SPL, frequency range, crossover points and voltage. This 30th year anniversary edition SA-3055SE has blue instead of red LEDs and has a silvery front. We love this and want one. Badly.’
Well, your editor has been matey with Tom Walker, head Honcho at the AudioControl zone in Seattle for a few years now and simply got on the phone to plead Talk Audio’s case. He’s a true Gentleman and agreed right away. Next thing, FOUR (The cunning folks that distribute a slew of high end kit, including AudioControl) get their next shipment in, send it off to me and there it was. I open parcels a lot, but this felt like Christmas!
Expect to be reading reviews where its been used soon. Also, next season, we’ll go out and about at events and can help folks RTA their systems, as it comes in a lovely tough baggie and has a serious new-tech battery pack inside for field use.
