ICE T-21
Like an old but loved Christmas Bauble, the ICE-T meet write ups always start with this bit pulled out of the box
‘The Ice T meetings have a long and illustrious history for Talk Audio. For as well as meets up and down the land and those on the beach, there is the yearly bash held in a field in deepest Oxfordshire. This year’s was the Twenty-First, hence T-21’.
Funny thing is, we outgrew the delightful Oxfordshire site with our huge bass waves. So for our fifteenth year’s ‘˜do’ we went to Santa Pod Raceway and simply appended to their year’s quietest-day of Run What Ya Brung. And mad but true, even versus the ridiculously loud dragster engines (that are moderated sound-wise by happening between two earthen banks) our bass vehicles are louder and the sound carries WAY further. So even Santa Pod now has restrictions on all-day booming. In the event, we were what you would call a ‘˜select’ group and if you were there, you were Talk Audio Aristocracy by attendance! We only had had one bass wagon, a van that rocked.
What follows is what happens when grown men get up to go and stand around in a field and talk er audio. I recorded some videos and took snaps
First, we destroyed the counterfeit woofers
And I recorded some SQ stuffthis was a rather posh Bentley.
Which was sumptuous inside.
And outside.
Yah
This video has been compared to the Two Ronnies.
Lee, NOT Nobby.
I liked Bazz’s equipment choices..
And his musical choices
A crucial accessory
A select crew
Who helped kill bad copy woofers
Here is the whole shoot is slideshow: link
