France has an awesome heritage of fine loudspeaker manufacture, with some of the finest makers in both hifi and professional sound reinforcement happening to be French. As often happens, the speaker designers, the ones I call ‘Golden Geese’ for they lay eggs of gold, realise that they are the talent and like a pop band member going solo, set up their own speaker companies – once they have learned the trade side to go with their native passion, genius and creativity to make new speaker technologies.
One such is Guy Bonneville, who was on the tech team, designing top end loudspeakers for the legendary Focal company. He has been doing his own thing for some years now and the offering has a cool mixture of imagery. For the brand is called BLAM, yet he has his name above the brand logo, in script, like a proud chef has his name over the door of his restaurant, and below it, the words, ‘˜Driven by Passion’, which definitely isn’t just about boom.
And here, a cunning first offering to tell you about (and after doing the follow-up, homework, I can tell you there is some clever stuff in there) all fettled for the owners of Volkswagen Transporter vans. These are still a massive slice of business, for most all owners of these vans buy them to customise. They have a culture of individuality of vehicle, as strong as the Japanese, in this.

This is a complete kit for the fitting of BLAM BL-200RS highly efficient 20cm 2 way component speakers into the front doors of a Volkswagen Transporter T5 and T6 van.
The kit includes all the fitting parts required, including 2 sheets of Skinz sound deadening.
This speaker upgrade kit offers a significant upgrade in audio quality when fitted with the original head unit in the vehicle. It also works very well with aftermarket head units and amplifiers.

Complete head unit replacement fitting kit for a Volkswagen Transporter T6 van to fit an aftermarket double DIN head unit.
