New from JVC, the KW-AVX640 AV multimedia centre comes from a range of three units which feature a removable front. The new unit features a Wide Video Graphics Array (WVGA) display which provides crystal clear images from DVD, direct A/V in or through the USB port and enables users to upload their own wallpaper images. The optimised viewing angle helps to lessen viewing fatigue.
The 6.1 inch panel also features improved Gesture Slide Control offering simple and intuitive access to many features and keeping the button count to an absolute minimum.
With an impressive array of media formats to choose from, the KW-AVX640 will also connect with the optional JVC KS-BTA 100 Bluetooth interface enabling hands free mobile phone operation and music streaming from other Bluetooth devices whilst the USB port is compatible with an external hard drive and provides two-way control for iPod and iPhone. A front panel mounted 3.5mm stereo aux-in completes the full set of external source inputs.
As a standalone unit, the KW-AVX640 provides all you need from an in-car entertainment centre, however, the comprehensive range of audio and video outputs allow for versatile system integration with head unit adjustable subwoofer control a particularly useful feature.
