Alpine New V-Power Amps

There is a brand new selection of the legend-in-their-own-lunchtime V-Power amplifiers from Alpine to tell you about. The MRP-F300 and 600 and the MRP-M500 & 1000. the MRP-F300 is a £170 four channeller rated at 50wpc although it’s good for 2 x 150w RMS at two Ohms bridged. The MRP-F600 is a 4x 100w RMS model. Both have a +12dB capable 50Hz bass EQ section for one pair of channels, have a preout and a 50-400Hz crossover system. They have signal to noise ratios of over 100dB so are crisp performers.

The MRP-M500 is a monoblock in the same size chassis (and at the same £170 price point)  as the MRP-F300 and is rated at 300w RMS into four Ohms and 500 watts into two. The M1000 is also £600 like the MRP-F600 and is made in the same chassis. This is rated at 600w RMS into four Ohms or the round thousand into two. They are class D designs and have a steep 24dB per octave bass crossover that can be set between 50Hz and 200Hz.
