Alpine iDA-X-Men Arrive

Alpine’s iDA-X100 X200 & X300 family of mechanism-free headunits has landed in the UK and they are a tour de force. Dripping with connectivity and Alpine know how, this is their second generation of these made-for-iPod items. The central control knob’s search and enter button is a simple yet crucial ergonomic improvement. The iDA-X100 unit has been so hotly desired that there have even been people grey importing them from the USA despite the fact that this means they would have to go back home for any warranty issues. I guess those folks were thinking that was like the Carlsberg complaints dept, though&;.
For video users, you can see what’s playing on the small screen and you can plug the very latest iPods right on in plug and play style. The X100 & X200 units can be used with the awesome Imprint system for better sound quality and posh 24 Bit DACs are fitted. The X100 will sell for around £300, the X200 and X300 are less costly at £200 and £150 respectively.
