‘Watts For Wonga!’ A New Term Is Coined

NOOB NO MORE! Hired for skills in serious corporate directions like all that heavy duty spreadsheet crunching stuff, the marketing executive type at Alpine Electronics of UK has coined a phrase I shall use henceforth and for ever more.
‘Watts for Wonga!’ As against ‘Bang For The Buck!’ is the key as it is our very own. We have pounds, not Bucks. We may be annoyed with the damn payday lender who has made what was just a London slang term into a mainstream one but like the classic, ‘Naughty But Nice!’ for the Dairy Marketing Board to sell cream cakes back in the Eighties, this is CLASSIC.
And the couple of BBX amplifiers we have wind of, are their reason for coining the term. Here is what Alpine have to say about them:

The new BBX series models are our best ‘Watts for Wonga’ entry line in power amplifiers, creating a brilliant cost/performance value.
However, quality is assured, as you would expect, from all Alpine amplifiers.
Variable filters, as well as variable BassEQ, significantly enhance their application and performance, even at this amazing price point.
