Morel’s Grand International Installation Contest

Israeli expert speaker makers Morel, have the most literally awesome sounding kit for cars and home use. From their Fat Lady home speakers made of carbon fibre, to the massively sexy limited edition Elate three-way car systems, they all sound good and some sound breath-taking. Now, in one of the most satisfying long term international relationships with a company I have ever had (we used to talk when I was on Max Power!) I am thrilled to have Morel as direct and UK site associates for Talk Audio. This just means that the ads you see are organised by the UK distributors as well as Morel themselves. And Talk Audio is getting to announce and spur on the last phase of their great vote to find a winner in the Morel International Installation Competition. Talk Audio is honoured.
All installers of Morel products were asked to submit photographs of a Morel installation to a page upon popular social networking website, Facebook. Each car from what ever territory was to be judged by these pictures and examined by experts at Morel, as well as to be voted for by Facebook users by way of ‘˜Likes’.
There has been some degree of pro judging of the workmanship and techniques used, as well as the acoustic design of the installer for each car from each entry. This professional judge panel’s view is to be tempered with the public’s vote.
The prize, a set of top end Morel Supremo 602 two-way carbon fibre coned component loudspeakers, was really the Indicator Of Glory, I reckon, as their sheer effort and skill is what these installers are offering up for international recognition. The guys were not just after the loot, that’s just a lovely dollop of horseradish beetroot sauce on top of the big Latke shredded fried potato yummyness. No, this is about MATTERING!
