Car Audio

FOUR Tour 2010

For the whole of the UK 2010 show season, the guys at FOUR have been on an ICE Doctor mission.
Running their Car Clinics, complete with Naughty Nurses and Ice Doctors in white coats, they have been offering free ice system safety checks, followed by health advice on how to get better results from the equipment they already own.
They attended the Modified Nationals show in May, the Open Day at HighDown Car Audio at the end of the season, The Mobile Electronics News magazine Expo in the early spring and the show these pictures were taken from, TRAX at Silverstone in September.

Each clinic was well attended and while some horrors of unsecured bass boxes and amplifiers flapping about loose in boots to turn into a driver-killing missiles in an accident were found, there were some FAR more life threatening things uncovered.

In at least ten cars’ cases, the doctors found bare positive-live conductors near to body work with no fuses present. Cables going through firewalls with no grommet and showing signs of wear. It is definite that they prevented some serious auto fires and in this writer’s opinion, I think they may well have saved some lives as well.

Power to ‘˜em and here’s to next season being a corker for these guys, who supply car audio and electronics up to the finest around.
