Autoleads PC4-28
The largest power cable kit we looked at and has equipment to power up two high current amplifiers. It has a large fuseholder and also an earth wire distribution block and a second heavy duty fuseholder to take two live lines through it. Labelled as a two thousand watt kit, it is packaged in a very large blister, so heavy that it has to be held together with rivets at strategic points. Packaged to look good, the major components are layered above the lengths of cables.

Started an age ago, the original Autoleads was sold to the people who sold again to Armour and it has been the mainstay of UK ICE wiring throughout all that time with it being found in Halfords and being the one that you had to look to if you wanted to compete. And not just for the price as the Autoleads product was always high quality.
This is no exception and in fact is the most serious complete wiring bits and bobs and cables kit I have ever seen. It is a huge package of stuff and although looks a bit mad to the non-enthusiast, what is actually packaged up is a perfect arrangement fro hooking up to big old amplifiers and a large system comprising say fat four channeler and a biog bad bass amplifier. The power distribution blocks are excellent the fuseholder lets the side down a bit even though it is better than most in the group as in the old days, their 1/0 gauge fuseholders had what’s termed Collet fixing which pinches the cable all the way around rather than compressing the bare end laterally with a grub screw as they in fact all do now. It’s a bit cheaper and very secure but not as excellent as collet. But that is to nit pick as the set is very good indeed and represents equal best value on the whole market. Well made and good looking yet sold at commodity prices. Four gauge cable is 10mm diameter with 5.5mm conductor, the one over gauge is 15mm diameter with 9mm conductor.
The Autoleads PC4-28 1/0 gauge wiring kit for two amplifiers scores so well it wins a coveted Talk Audio Best Buy and we don’t fling them around.
