Alpine and Talk Audio – Adhesive Mates!!
Fully three years ago, Mike ‘˜Guru’ Organ invited me to start a magazine about mobile electronics on Talk Audio. The hope was that as a ‘˜known good’ reviewer who actually grasps the point behind the electronic design of the stuff they make and generally gets it spot on at review time, that the big makers would welcome my advances with open arms. (I seem to have got away with it!)
Now, while we offer profound gratitude to the many companies that have supported Talk Audio down the years, and remain chummy with ‘˜em all forever, there is a special corner of my world for the guys at Alpine. They were the first to fly me off to Japan (I have been twice with Kenwood and also to ‘˜Vegas with Pioneer, and Vibe, and Fusion once.) and the first to sign up to Talk Audio Site Associate status.
Fact is, it was a Jerry Maguire job and I had them at ‘˜Hello’.
So this end-of-August news story is about Talk Audio now entering it’s fourth full year and about Alpine being as ever the first to sign up for the next twelve months. If we had been studying for a Bachelor of Science degree, we would have had enough time to do the whole course and now we’re off after the Masters’!
There’s a serious slice of work sat hiding behind the drop-downs on TA now and lots and lots of reviews. Do go see! Notable Alpine write-ups include:

There’s more to find under speakers and news. But Talk Audio wants to offer a huge thank you to Alpine and long may it all continue!
