Alpine Ezi-DAB Ramps Up The Fame Game

Alpine Electronics are getting good and proactive with their part of the Digital Radio Story. Their product, a lovely Alpine-esque take on the PURE digital radio adaptor product is called Ezi-DAB and I caught up with it at the Gadget Show Live earlier this year – you can find the story by burrowing through the news pages. A handsome unit, the buttons look as though they are Alpine ones and the logo looks smart. Daft but true, given the choice, I’d have the Alpine one every time, even knowing the innards are essentially the same!

Thing is, as well as radio advertising on Jazz FM, they have got the product into the Sunday Mirror. I take that, so I will keep you informed as to which bit it made it into. With luck, it’ll be front-of-the-book in the page three ‘can’t get through the week without’ part where they feature a few items from posh booze to shoes, to mad tech items…
