On the 9th and 10th of April was the 1st international 2011 EMMA kick off event held at Amicom, Leipzig Germany.
With three huge halls filled to the brim being used, the show was jam packed, all the big names were there showing off their latest and greatest gadgets, cars and the toys we all love so much. With a standard of craftsmanship that would take your breath away.

There were loads of new product launches and prototypes flying around and all I can say is I can’t wait for some of the official launches of the stuff I saw to be released. Amps with built in DSP, old brands being relaunched back into Europe and too many gadgets to mention but with all of that going on in the background was the EMMA international competition. With a total 87 cars, some competing in more than one class, from Italy, Turkey, Russia, to mention a few – not forgetting Team UK..

Team UK took three competition cars, Dave Legg taking a 1st place in Master Unlimited with his freshly built Mercedes CL. Carlo Corbin and his stunning 206 picking up a 2nd place in Master 7 Channel, and first time competitor Donna Foster’s Zafira with a very well respected 6th place for her first outing.
All in all amazing results at an awesome show .
