Since 2013, Aria has been a leading range among high-performing and expressive Hi-Fi loudspeakers. With its natural flax cone and sleek style, Aria marked a decisive point in Focal’s history. And the story continues. As part of its process of constant renewal, the St. Étienne brand completes its line with the launch of Aria K2 936, a new edition of the Aria 936 model that features its iconic K2 cone and the Ash Grey exclusive finish.
FOCAL TECHNOLOGY AND EXPERTISE
Designed and manufactured in France, Aria K2 936 is a 3-way floor standing loudspeaker with a small footprint. Thanks to its three bass speaker drivers, it offers impressive power handling and dynamics. In a stereo installation, the listening experience speaks for itself, whatever genre of music you like to play. A multi-port PowerFlow system for more impact, floor- facing vent for more depth, aluminium/magnesium TNF tweeter for silky trebles, ultra-rigid MDF construction for very low vibrations and outstanding neutrality: the new addition to these cutting-edge technologies is the K2 cone, another exclusive from the Focal brand.
THE HISTORIC, ICONIC K2 CONE
In its trademark yellow, the K2 sandwich cone in aramid fibre was revealed by Focal for the first time in 1986. Made in France, it has continued to evolve over the years, enhancing the brand’s star products and always combining the three key success factors for a speaker driver: rigidity, lightness and damping. Now comprising an ultralight foam core sandwiched between a layer of aramid fibres and a layer of glass fibres, the K2 cone guarantees a pure and precise sound with no colouration. By incorporating this cone in the Aria 936, the Focal engineers demonstrate their innovative spirit, offering ever more character while maintaining high performance, for a Premium Hi-Fi product.
