AUDIOCONTROL GET TIME ALIGNMENT CES 2014

Adam Rayner caught up with Alex Camara, CEO of AudioControl, who are the coolest suppliers of processing and equalisation equipment, since the days when the twin 31 band EQT was the ONKLT choice of sound off winners. Having used two in an earlier system and bitterly regretting letting them go as part of the whole added value to a car about to die under the foot of the chap who bought it, (well it needed a universal joint and a LOT of suspension where I had knackered it) for I would drive at full pelt, but with the equivalent of a dead cow in the back. The self levelling suspension that cost £1,100 pounds a pop was turning out to be an annual cost the second one was killing me!
Anyway, I have a superb Real Time Analyser here. A blue LED Anniversary model, that they sent me, many years back, which is a serious item and I love. And know that an AudioControl EQ in your home cinema is a cool thing to own, too, as they are taken very seriously in that market too.
Happening upon the stand at the CES, I was delighted to learn about a new machine, that brings Time Alignment into the AudioControl OEM-conquering world of enhancements. It’s called the DQ-61 and Alex Camara himself, tells you about it, below.
