Audiowave Interconnects
Audio Wave, makers of the most beautifully crafted car audio amplifiers in the entire world have now got audio interconnects to offer to go with their amplifiers. Seen with their maker Grant Hanan at the recent EMMA sound off at Auto Audio, they are available with fixed Switchcraft or retractable Neutrik RCA plug-surrounds and are sheathed for the in-car environment.
They are custom made to order to any length, made of Silver plated Oxygen free copper cores, with a wrap of OFC Copper around the outside by way of Earth. They are very flexible and easy to use as well. Not cheap, they retail at a little less than some other premium brands and still compete with some at five times the price, we are told. They feature Copper alloy plugs with 24 carat Gold plating and a 1m pair will set you back £47, a 5m will be £82 a paired set, other prices by size. Very low loss in signal levels over the 5m lengths, and you can tell with the amps they are made to go with! (As tested with an Audio Precision dual domain audio analyser.)
