Audison Launch EISA Winning AV 10 Car Subwoofer

Audison adds a 10in subwoofer to its highly successful VOCE range of premium quality car audio products and bags an EISA award in the process. The AV 10 joins a range of high quality amplifiers, component speakers and the AV 12 subwoofer launched last year.
Audison continues the VOCE theme of quality without compromise with this quality bass reinforcer. An ‘open air’ design is achieved which, when coupled to aerodynamic basket spokes, drastically reduces back waves which can attenuate and distort the sound projecting from the cone. It also means the subwoofers can be reverse mounted without any degradation in quality.
Audison once again, breaks new ground with the introduction of a unique triple wave butyl surround which helps with cone damping, yet allows maximum cone excursion without mechanical distortion. An extremely lightweight and compact copper clad aluminium wire (ccaw) coil wound in a double layer provides extremely high efficiency making the most of the power from any amplifier. A cotton-fibre pressed paper cone ensures a smooth sound while the radial venting system on the rear offers high thermal stability, power handling and reliability.
The AV 10 will handle 400-Watts continuous or 800-Watts peak and presents a nominal 4 Ohms impedance.
