BIG FREE JVC SWAAAAAAAAG!

You know that bit in Star Trek The Next Generation, when Captain Jean-Luc Picard waves his hand and says, ‘Warp factor sixengage!’ and the star ship Enterprise flings herself into the void at beyond-light speeds with a whoosh and flash of light? Well, JVC UK have just done exactly that for 2013.
Yes, JVC, the legendary sponsor of tropical jazz festivals and footy alike, has taken EMMA (that’s the European Mobile Multimedia Association, who run competitions to see whose car stereo is the very finest and also a separate one to see whose is the most bonkers loud) and Talk Audio, in hand. With EMMA, well there’s a car and an installation involved but more of that later full feature in due course. But with Talk Audio, we will be able to go live and declare an official launch right at Gadget Show Live Professional Day. We will also report on just how deep JVC are involved in the Car Connectivity Consortium by way of getting at the kit and the executives, live on unedited video from the show.
That means MirrorLink and the further invasion of the smartphone’s processor into your every conscious moment, driving and all! One day, polycore chips will be embedded in yer ruddy neck maybe there will be something about that at GSL?
It’s all good stuff and means reviews, more news from JVC and videos from their sumptuous headquarters showroom with magnificent mature tropical fish! You are going to meet another dude called Adam, which will make it simpler when we are making videos about products. I already think I shall insist on us ALWAYS using our names, every sentence, Adam, yes Adam Murrrr!
But for a change I am getting ahead of myself for sheer excitement as you don’t go and have a meeting with the top chaps at JVC without coming away with some swag for the readers, viewers and visitors and I did you proud. So I am chuffed rotten to be able to tell you that I have a super-rare pair of tickets for the show to give away to a lucky dude and their chum/mum/lover/gimp/minder!

But that’s not all by any means, for I came away groaning with the booty of clearing them out of all sorts of dealer promotional items! And now, I can splurge them out to you lucky lot. Oddly, I find folks are more likely to engage with posting stuff and entering to grab swag for the piffley things, than when I get something sexy, like an actual headunit! I guess that is from the ‘˜I never win ANYTHING’ thought. But when I get a decent amount of less costly items although there is some seriously pukka schmutter in there in the shape of the polo shirts then folks get piling in with the response.
And as is the case this will be open to all via any darn route you find it as I tend these days to hippo-poo-splurt my efforts over Twitter, (@TheAdamRayner) Facebook, fully three pages, including my bizarre ‘˜fan’ page and the forum boards of Talk Audio via Magazine, Product and Review Discussions.
Now, here is where it is going to get messy.
Right, the item you will just want soo bad it hurts, only a little but you WILL ache A teeny tiny radio controlled car with JVC Mobile Entertainment decals on it.

Now the almost as desirable, deep black, tight weave polo shirts with JVC embroidered upon the left breast. I have three, all size large only.

I also have five NPZ-0710 Silicone mats which are for plopping on your dash and acting as non-slip spots for stuff like, say, a MirrorLinked smartphone, lying in a flat dashtop cubby. (See what I did there?)

Finally, I have a red beach towel it does have an old strap line on it, so you are not allowed to read it if you win it. Errm, scratch that, it’s just that I really raided them! LAST ONE so has rarity value!

Anyway, if you have ANY JVC thing at ALL get your self snapped with it or a JVC logo or product in shot and add it, on FB or the forum, with a little wheedle of words as you see fit (like what you really want most) and we’ll put JVC’s executive Adam on the spot and make- him choose who gets what. Then, once I tell you a swag item is thine I will need a pm on Talk Audio, ideally, with delivery address details of where I can post your swag to.
