BOB STEWART AT THE MERIDIAN MQA PRESS EVENT AT THE SHARD

Meridian Audio hired the whole of The View at The Shard to host a press event after their presentation to the music industry.

Basically, the issue is about time rather than frequency. We are 17 times more sensitive to timing than tone. Thus we cannot hear like a bat but we can tell where a mouse is ruslting about…but MQA is about a far better way of getting all that timing data into a digital file that takes up sane amounts of storage space and outperforms all soi disant high definition digital audio formats. It even works on old mono recordings and has the music industry itself VERY excited. May the LOW Fi era be at an end!!
