CERWIN VEGA: The International CES, Las Vegas 2014

So, there I was in full flow having met one of my all time heroes, Mr. Larry Frederick, when it transpired that the new UK Cerwin-Vega distributors were there and on the stand. So first I had to ask Larry if he would be on camera for me, while I was somewhat utterly uncool, before turning the camera upon the two chaps from G7 Direct in the UK, Terry and Gavin.
First, here is Mr. LF himself

I learned about the twenty year anniversary of Diamond Audio, who make some savagely high end kit, and that the illustrious Cerwin-Vega name is no less than SIXTY years old in 2014! This is no recent ‘˜me-too’ speaker company and have heritage as long as just about any speaker company world wide. It’s how come they can make items like THIS:

Although they are more known for the Stroker series and now Stroker PRO:

I was in my element. It was beyond good to meet up with one of my car audio industry heroes (who I have shaken hands with before) but also darn fine and slightly mad at the super long range from Blighty to be saying ‘˜hello’ face to face for the first time with Gavin as he and the G7 Direct outfit are to be Talk Audio Site Associates, which is nice.

They had a really cute demo car on the stand in ‘˜Vegas.
