HARMAN Continues to Innovate In-Car Sound Experience with New JBL® GT6 Loudspeaker Series

Complete line of multi-element and component speakers brings flawless accuracy, low distortion and incredible dynamic range to car sound systems.
The latest line of multi-element and component JBL® loudspeakers for the car, the JBL GT6 Series.
HARMAN continues to bring the latest innovation in sound technology to all aspects of life with the new JBL GT6 Series loudspeakers this time, for a superb sound experience in your car. Professional loudspeakers are famous for flawless accuracy, low distortion and incredible, dynamic range. The same formula has made JBL mobile loudspeakers the choice of car audio competitors and music lovers from mild to wild for more than three decades. Available in all of the most popular sizes and configurations, JBL GT6 Series speakers are designed to integrate into most factory locations and feature advanced materials and technologies that deliver exceptional performance.
‘For decades, JBL has built a reputation and brand that has been synonymous with legendary sound whether in the movie theatre, at home or on the go’, said David Slump, president, HARMAN Consumer Division. ‘The GT6 loudspeaker series brings the same world-class sound into the interior of your car, sacrificing absolutely nothing when it comes to the highest JBL standard in design, engineering and sound.’
For low frequencies, HARMAN’s proprietary Plus One® woofer cones deliver more bass output than competitive cones of the same size, featuring up to thirty percent more surface area than standard cones, increasing bass output and efficiency. Also, to minimise distortion, GT6 motor structures dissipate distortion-causing heat more effectively than conventional motor assemblies, enabling GT6 systems to play loud and long in the performance-proven JBL tradition. The speakers also feature Titanium-laminate tweeters that produce bright, distinct HF sound that rises above road noise.
GT6 Series speakers feature 4 Ohm designs, so they can be driven safely by any factory head unit. But with peak power ratings of 90 to 210 watts, they’ll add real muscle to any car audio system.
