Hertz Energy Slim – Bursting Power And Dynamics, Even In Reduced Spaces

The just released Energy Slim subwoofers are for those who want to optimize low frequency performance within the small available space in today’s automobiles, without compromise in either power or authority.
The Hertz R&D team has designed four Slim solutions; two subwoofer drivers and two enclosed systems, with the goal of maintaining efficiency and timbre quality without increasing size. The result is superlative! The ES F20.5 200mm subwoofer measures only 86mm in depth, while the ES F25.5 250mm subwoofer is only 94mm, with a maximum power handling of 400W and 500W respectively.

The two enclosed systems, EBX F20.5 and EBX F25.5, feature a passive radiator design providing exceptional musicality, even at the lowest frequencies. An MDF enclosure, strengthened with internal bracing, is implemented, avoiding resonances and flexing, both enemies of sound quality and overall performance.

Their high-flux density magnet, complete with a Copper voice coil, and the water-repellent, pressed-paper cone provide the ability to reliably sustain the very high sound pressure levels demanded of low frequency systems.
With their attractive and aggressive design, the Energy Slim single subs proudly display the Hertz logo and the Energy line name on their dust caps; the Energy Slim sub-boxes have an exclusive, ultra flat profile with a unique moulded grille, featuring the Hertz logo on a reversible metal plate, for maximum versatility in any installation configuration.
