In all the years I have been a Car Audio Journalist and indeed for years before, when I was a rep in car audio, the Huets name always shone bright. A major player of great excellence, their installations have always been up there with the very best. Back then, the business was named for the owners’ dad, for they are second generation at Huets The In Car Specialists, as it is now called.
And dad would be proud as punch of his boys and their business these days, how they run it and how their installers have always been among the very best there are, with the Huets brothers themselves utterly unassailable as master craftsmen in Ice. Their chap Robert Drake just won the Mobile Electronics News Installer of the Year Gold Award, as voted for by the trade.
Not only did they run the single most successful sound off team in the UK for years and years, bettered ONLY by Source Sounds in Sheffield (who still send a team to shows) but they have tapped into the ineffable world of the Great & The Good. This means posh folks with real lolly. Boxers, DJs, millionaires and celebrities, ALL of whom know to trust the Huets name and know that the buggers will never, ever tell me anything more than a snippet to interest me but nada about who exactly and what they had so I might report on them. For whilst who tips out of Mahiki in London is one thing, which ‘˜dream demographic’ footballers owns the awesome sound system inside his Escalade is something else, that they are told by their agents not to brag about. They do in the USA but hey, this writer will have to put up with that.

And Huets The In Car Specialists are not resting upon their laurels about past glories. They are up to date, and current. As well as having their own website, they are also going to be sending out a newsletter to their faithful and looking to increase their customer base by telling folks all about what the latest is that they have been up to.
