Lately, the trend for the cleverer car brands has been to do special quasi-OEM deals with aftermarket electronics companies who are OEM friendly. OEM meaning of course, Original Equipment by Manufacturer, which means the car maker is taking responsibility for the items safety and efficacy. A big deal and has all sorts of constraints. However, done well, it can really compete and the folks who bring Dacia cars into our lives in the UK have done a deal with Kenwood Electronics.. which I bring you below&;
UK’s Most Affordable Car Now Available With New Kenwood Receiver/Navigation Packages & Digital Radio!
Watford 1st MARCH 2013-Kenwood Electronics (UK) Ltd. today announces a range of exclusive bespoke fitting kits for Dacia Sandero and Duster.
Kenwood are proud to introduce the Dacia approved Kenwood receiver packages.
Both Sandero and Duster Access do not have audio as standard. Now you can specify them to be delivered with the market leader’s headunits -by Kenwood.
Pack 1 contains a headunit with 4 x 50 watts and front USB/AUX inputs and a set of 100 watt door speakers
Pack 2 contains all of the above but adds Bluetooth for hands-free calling & music streaming, plus iPod/iPhone direct control with Apple’s white USB cable.
Pack 1 will sell for around £200, whereas Pack 2 will cost an extra £50.00
Looking for a fully flavoured Navigation System? For both Sandero and Duster Models? This is also available as a full kit, starting from around £1,200 fitted. This includes: Garmin European Navigation with free TMC (Traffic Information) Bluetooth hands free and iPod/iPhone control. PLUS a future proof fully featured DAB receiver with Alphabet station search.
