Now available in the UK, the JL Audio JX1000/1D monoblock single channel power amplifier. It offers rock-solid JL Audio subwoofer power at a highly affordable price of £399.99. It isn’t just that at a two Ohm load this will create a kilowatt RMS, it is also how it does it from a ground breakingly small footprint of just 278x195mm. It is also just 53mm thick.
High grade output transistor components and fat doughnut power supply toroids are used inside, to offer better reliability, power and sound quality than the typical competition. These are married to a luxuriantly thick, high-mass Aluminium heatsink to offer better thermal capacity to hard users. You really will have to be a bass psycho on a hot day with no air con to give this amp grief.
Like all JL Audio JX amplifiers, the JX1000/1D features captured-wire power & speaker connectors. This means easier installation (no crimping required) and better protection from accidental short-circuits as well as looking clean and crisp.
