MASSIVE PRIZES AT T-17!

Those lovely people at Harman Consumer UK have been just short of god-like towards lil’-old Talk Audio!
Initially it was planned that prizes for the competitions at the T-17 meeting in Oxfordshire on Saturday the 18th July were to be £500-worth each. I figured this was awesome and that after running a brace of polls on the Forum, both it was looking like the prizes desired to that value had been decided.
The polls remain open but this news is fabulous and easily enough justification to call it A RESULT!
The polls had gone in the direction of wanting a single set of the best components the £500 budget would allow for the SQ contest where entrants have to sit in an SQ car and guess the pitch to one of 31 bands by ear and for the SPL contest where they have to guess the SPL having been boomed at, at up to ‘bloody loud’ to be the single biggest bass amplifier that the budget would stretch to.
Well after seeing this develop, the blokes at Harman (Mark Hockey and Mick Stoddard, hallowed be their names) called me up and simply threw the budget out the ruddy window!

So, instead of £1,000 worth, it’s nearly that each.
Even if you are all utterly rubbish, it’s a tournament so someone WILL be going home with this stuff!

Talk Audio’s T-17 meet is free to members of the Forum community to attend and so is the competition entry.
