Modified Nationals is Talk Audio’s Favourite Show Of The Year Now With EMMA

Those of you mad enough to be on my Facebook Fan page (yes, that’s how I joined FB, when I heard about it, I was embarrassed at first but now am the happy admin!) might know that I have been working at the Modified Nationals show as their stage presenter/MC since it was held in a muddy bit of field at Billings Aquadrome.
The show is in its fourth or fifth year at Peterborough’s East of England Showground and has always been a ruddy hoot, with really good attendance, even if the weather is terrible which with luck it won’t be this year.
We have some stuff from the European Mobile Media Association (EMMA) competition scene and some skinny on the show itself:

Looking for something to do? Want to see the UK’s best cars? Want to have it full on for 48hours non-stop? Then you need to get to Modified Nationals car show. The country’s biggest and best indoor and outdoor car event comes to Peterborough on May 28-29 2011. Guaranteed not to be spoilt by the weather!
Expect an action packed ride, for the entire weekend. From wild modified cars, live stage shows, hot babes, stunt shows and amazing deals, Modified Nationals is an essential visit for any car nut.
There will be thousands of cars on display with every modifying tribe catered for, it’s always a weekend to remember and this year will be no exception.
There will be live stunt shows all weekend, including monster trucks and the brand new Double Wheel of Death, a rolling road and a hi-fi clinic to get your audio sorted. With trade stands galore, boasting hundreds of exclusive bargains you are sure to get that part you need for your ride. With only 48hours to get it all in you will have to plan carefully to make sure you don’t miss anything out, including the amazing live stage shows.
The outdoor stage will have live performances from upcoming superstars Beatbullyz and Fugative on the Saturday and on Sunday Pajie Richardson and Katie Waissel ‘as seen on X-factor’ will be performing live, a show not to be missed.
If this isn’t enough then indoors on the Acclr8 arena stage, there will be the famous Modified Nationals babe competition, exclusive performances from MC Stallion, and an MC Battle (think 8-mile) all topped off with 20 of the UK’s finest DJs scratching it up for one epic face off.
However the days don’t finish at 6pm, because as the sun go down the night mayhem begins. With live performances Friday and Saturday night from Sidewinder, Warning, Hijack Records and Raver Baby, full on adrenalin fun fair, outside bars and trade stands. Be sure to have your water bottles filled for an epic night of clubbing Mod Nats style.
If excitement is your thing then get yourself down to the UK’s car equivalent of Ibiza for a weekend of the finest entertainment.
There are plenty of reasons Modified Nationals is the UK’s biggest and best car show, with 48 hours of non-stop entertainment and bargains galore it’s a must-visit event.

And last of all but certainly not least of all, is that there are to be some Dodo Juice detailing products involved! The newest Talk Audio Site Associate, we love Dodo Juice and show cars needs must be shiny, so we are a good marriage, at least for the ice cream months. As Yours Truly is MC-ing the EMMA guys this year, I figured they were the likeliest and most righteous recipients of any of the bodacious Dodo Juice detailing products that I can get hold of.
Here’s more about their cool stuff: link
Also, it’ll be the first outing of the newly painted and ice-installed EMMA UK battlewagon van, so I’ll hose it down with the camera and bring you its very own feature after the show report is done.
See you at the show.
