Morel Debut Its First Line Of After-Market Automotive Amplifiers
THIS just in today from Morel, who have, after a long time, decided to offer their own amplifiers to run their own speakers. I have no idea as to price, or even specification, but I gather that samples are available at the distributors’ so shall try to go and swipe one. I may even use it to run the speakers in the 6.75in test group of coaxial loudspeakers I have on the go what follows is from Morel:

Accurate Design and High Level Components
To meet Morel’s R&D team sonic requirements, proper design and audiophile grade components were used throughout to ensure the highest-level performance. The MPS start with fully balanced differential inputs for superior noise rejection that can accept up to twenty volts of signal input, allowing for factory integration with speaker-level audio signal accepted through the RCA connections. High fidelity Texas Instruments OP amps and ultra-low tolerance surface mount components keep the integrity of the audio signal as pure as possible. Add to that the onboard microprocessor controlled protection circuitry for a low resistance power path that ensures greater dynamic headroom and you have serious amplifiers at hand.
Installation Simplicity a Top Priority
With installers in mind, Morel’s new amplifiers provide a unique feature set and installation-friendly design. Each model uses a single sided circuit layout with all connections on one side of the amplifier, making installation simple and clean. Preamp tuning and setting options are located discreetly under a removable panel at the top of the amplifier.
Each amplifier is also devised to integrate with OEM audio systems directly through the RCA input with an adaptive connector, and auto turn-on via signal sensing or DC turn-off sensing’”features usually found in much more expensive amplifiers.
