Morel: New Speakers, New Install Competition & Now, TA SITE ASSOCIATES!

I do so like it when a plan comes together.. for Morel are site associates of Talk Audio. We have done stuff in the past and indeed, if you go look at Son Of BoomZilla.. our short lived successor to the original BoomZilla cartoon strip that ran for two years in Car Stereo & Security magazine, right here on the drop down menus (ok click this: link and see the Morel and Fusion ads on the strip-books we made) It was a qualified thing, as really, it was six months worth of art, in just two episodes.

Anyway, they have some sexy new products out and a seriously cool internet contest happening. First, the contest. What follows is their press release, from Israel.
Morel has announced the start of its inaugural Install Contest. Starting this month (September) through to the end of January, car audio enthusiasts and dealers can submit photos of an install and be entered in the competition to win Morel’s mobile reference system, the Supremo 602 speaker set link. These top-of-the-line speakers have an MSRP of $5,000. (In the UK call Auto Audio on 020 8838 8838 to locate near you or order for £3,999.00)
Contestants can send in even a single photo to be considered for scoring but it is recommended that they submit a portfolio of detailed pictures of an install, including before and after pictures and images showing the installation process. The better the photos, the better the panel and Morel’s online community will be able to vote on what they see. Thorough written descriptions will also benefit submissions to ensure that everyone will be awarded points for the level of workmanship that may be easily overlooked. In addition Morel encourages people to add a video to their entry, as an overview or to provide a better look at the install or to explain any part of the customisation.
Photos one submits must be work on their own vehicle or their own work on someone else’s car. The installation must feature Morel products. Morel will not be awarding more points for the level of product shown.
