NEW Major Talk Audio JVC-Ness!

Apparently, part of the wooing of JVC for Talk Audio magazine has been the Mad Nerd At The Desk unboxing videos, so the sweet carton of JVC car audio review items to arrive very soon will also include the tiny wee GC XA1 ADIXXION quadproof action cam that shall be sent on to our resident adrenaline-dependent psychopath, Simon (‘we used to call him ShadowTD you know’) King. After I have popped the cherry on the product and had a good look at what you get and videoed doing so. Which would drive me potty in his position!
I know that he is all but having a sex wee at the prospect of testing and reporting on the GC XA1 and I am so delighted that he is quite that mad. But I do worry that the damn thing might record his last moments That bicycle of his is motorised to go to sixty mph quicker than a McLaren F1.
Today’s missive is to simply inform that we have made out first video foray to JVC House and been underground into the lair of the showroom fish tank. The video is a simple look at all that’s down there and just finishes on the 2013 in-car stand. We are filming again (odd verb for full digital recording) on Wednesday and will be able, due to my happy proximity to J5 M1 and theirs to J zero M1, to go get plenty of these clips, as and when the urge comes upon them. First, for the record, here is that video from the showroom. Going Underground&;

Now of course, I swagged a load of stuff from JVC last time I went in and bless them, for after the deliveries of that lot, some folks even sent a sweet Talk Audio and JVC ‘thank you’ for the polo shirts, silicone anti-slip bit n’bobs mats with JVC branding and so forth.
I adore swagging stuff. It costs the effort to pack it all up and I have to spend some of the wedge got in from an associate on posting their swag out but it is the ruddy least I can do and such an entertaining thing. Plus the happy glow from delighting someone with something as daft as a clever little JVC branded anti-slip mat, is quite disproportionate to the cost-effort.
The thank you’s on Facebook and via the TA PM system have been sweet.

‘Polo shirts arrived, much appreciated fella!’

‘Yay! Got my JVC anti slip mat through the post today from Mr Adam Rayner (thank you)
Ben Hofener
‘So, get home from work to a nice little parcel from Mr. Adam Rayner… definitely owe you an Ace café cup o’ tea…pics will be up soon
Adam Rayner shared Robert Prince’s status.
‘Would like to say a big thank you to Mr. Adam Rayner for the gift turned up today
Love it!
So much so, that when I went in again, they gave me some more! YAY! And it’s desirable stuff. I have the deep black, tight weave polo shirts with JVC embroidered upon the left breast. I have five, all size large only as well as four more silicone mats.

The NPZ-0710 Silicone mats are for plopping on your dash and acting as non-slip spots for stuff like, say, a MirrorLinked smartphone, lying in a flat dashtop cubby. (See what I did there?)

To get either one, just chip in, comment, anywhere you find this by linkies to Twitter (@TheAdamRayner and full of pies and fishing, too.) or Facebook on the Talk Audio page or my own one. Or the thread on the board… or below hell, me and Mister JVC will take a shufty at it ALL.
No big deal or cleverness, just anything you fancy. Desires, or memories of JVC. Just engage and you are at risk of getting it sent, post free. No catch, no e-mail harvesting, no keeping of your address, which is why, if you are an inveterate follower and swagger, then I will definitely need the address you want it sending to, all over again, again.
But don’t send anything until you are told you swagged so there ya go.
Swag.
More swag!
