The BlackAir Bandpass 12 enclosure will outperform the majority of bass enclosures on the market today. Combining cutting edge subwoofer design and state of the art amplifier technology with Bandpass enclosure engineering, the BlackAir Bandpass 12 allows bass performance that would normally only be possible from a sealed or ported enclosure twice the size.
The sleek enclosure design with an angled front and rounded edges is constructed from 25mm (1in) MDF, jointed, glued, screwed and braced – ensuring absolute rigidity and solidity.
VIBE’s patented A.R.B.S.S. (Anti Resonance Bass Support System) helps to deaden vibrations and enclosure resonance, gripping the enclosure at each end the A.R.B.S.S. plants it firmly into its position. Finished to an exceptionally high standard, the enclosure features dual flared VIBE TurboPorts to give smoother airflow and cleaner bass; the supplied VIBE Port Plug can be used for variable tuning options of +/- 5Hz.
 

The Bandpass 12 is loaded with the BlackAir 12in, a dual spider, dual voice coil subwoofer featuring a Polypropelyne and fibreglass cone designed using Finite Element Analysis to ensure a maximum rigidity to weight ratio. This active enclosure contains the VIBE PowerBox Bass 1, a Class AB amplifier with a separate power amp and pre-amp, and a new extruded Aluminium heatsink for efficient dispersion of heat. The supplied remote control can be used to adjust amplifier crossover frequency and gain from the front of the vehicle. The amplifier features both high level and low level inputs for maximum compatibility, with input sensitivity of 0.25-6v on the low level input and 6v-12v on the high level input.
The finely tuned trinity of subwoofer, amplifier and enclosure are engineered to complement each other perfectly and give the deep hard bass punch that VIBE is known for across the world.
