Pioneer Direct USB

Pioneer’s new DEH-P7900UB CD tuner includes a USB high-speed 2.0 direct interface, which means you can plug in and play your USB audio player or USB memory stick.
Enjoy your digital music collection in your car.

Key features, including artist/album/track selection and playlist access, are controlled via the CD tuner through a ‘rotary commander’, which works like a joystick, giving you speedy control over all the functions.
Turn it left or right , push it up or down, left or right, or press it to navigate joystick-style throughout different radio stations, access folders and files.
Track information is displayed on the unit’s screen. And playback flexibility is further advanced by the multi-format CD. It reads MP3, WMA, WAV and AAC files.
You can also easily hook-up your iPod (using the optional CD-IU50 iPod to USB cable).

The 7900UB has three high-volt pre-outs, which means you can connect up to three amplifiers and speakers. By providing a strong signal, with less noise and more definition, the high-volt pre-outs reduce demands on the input circuit of the amplifiers so they can work with lower gain settings.
This results in improved sound quality and a wider dynamic range.

The Pioneer DEH-P7900UB will be available from Pioneer retailers in April 2007.
