Propper Droppers Nederlands Go LIIIIVE!

Regular readers and true bassheads alike, know about Propper Droppers. It is the bass competition for car audio that measures both loudness and profundity. Brainchild of Marcos Barnes, I have been a fan from day one. Marcos has ‘˜licensed’ PD to a bunch of Dutch nutters, who have done him bloody proud. Their competitions, their rig and even their bloody sound pressure levels are all a bit bigger than ours, possibly because they are even more insane than us Britons.
I love them.
So it’s 11:30 at night, I am watching ASMR videos on YouTube, (look that up, it’s bloody bonkers and make sure you wear headphones) when I get Facebook messenger pinging like a nutter. It is Alexander Roeken, kernel in chief of the nutters, or one of them, anyway, to tell me all about the big finals event that PD Nederlands is to hold at the weekend and how they shall be streaming it live!

I have a good contact in professional television making, who works all around the world filming impossibly glamorous Motor sports events. He tells me this is the future of television. Alexander and his crew are doing it now.
Here in his words is the lowdown. See what I did there?
Follow our National 2015 finals this weekend (Sunday, September 6th, 2015) on our livestream at YouTube.
We are planning to do a live registration on our YouTube channel, PropperDroppersNL so you can see all the attempts, competitors, installs and crowds live on your computer screen!
The competitors will not only try to improve their personal high-scores, but will also try to beat the national high-scores.
Some of them are actually going for the PD world records!
I think we are gonna have a big bass battle in the wall category since we have more than one (!) install that can get over 160dB AVERAGE!
But my guess is it will be between Sander Meuffels (current world record holder) and Michael Jansen.
It’s gonna be loud (and low, and fun, and…. Dutch!)
