Rayner Feeling Aged…

You know as a reviewer, one thing I really care about is the truth. Ian Drury once said that if a movie director broke his leg while making a film, The editor would never let that get into the final cut. Likewise, just because I am past 50, Does not mean that you carry the same biases as my grumpy old self. So a review of a mono loudspeaker, in this case was best done with some help from people a little more up to speed with modern use of tech.

I can tell you that the PURE DiscovR has awesome build quality and tremendous sound output purity but literally I was compelled to admit that when it came to varying accounts of online music supply and also perhaps keeping track of multiple offspring using Amazon Alexa, I simply was not up to speed. In any case my friend is a hard-working nurse and was delighted to get the DiscovR to enhance their already well Alexa-controlled world. Sometimes being an ‘expert’ just means knowing the right people who actually are and being able to translate.
