Rockford Fosgate: The International CES, Las Vegas 2015

I visited Rockford Fosgate to interview Steve Meade for Fast Car Magazine and also to get the background for doing the famous Tahoe as a feature install in the magazine as well as have it here in due course. Last year, they showed crazed bass prototypes they were working on and this year, the madness was real:

It wears its Neodymium super-magnets INSIDE this edge wound Aluminium oblong cross-section wire voice coil!

As well as other seriously cool-looking bass drivers

I papped Steve Meade a little

Andy Hefft, an old mucker of mine for ever, and Rockford’s European cog, shows us the absurd ‘400 watt’ tiny form factor amp and its Birth Certificate, showing LOTS more in reality.
