Some Fab Euro Sound Off Cars In Germany

This was the press release that Pioneer put out last November in congratulations to their Team Pioneer efforts in the European Mobile Multimedia Association’s pan-European finals sound-off. Held at a huge German everything-show, it was quite an event by all accounts.
However, some video footage taken of some lovely cars has just come to light and so now they are here embedded, with the rest of the story(we gather that the edit is what has taken the time.)
More Than Just Sausages And Pretzels: South Germany’s Biggest Lifestyle And Consumer Fair Consumenta In Nuremberg Was Hosting This Year’s Showdown Of Europe’s Greatest Sound-Cars
After 11 years both the German and the European Finals were held at the birthplace of the European Mobile Multimedia Association main-sponsored by Pioneer Europe.
A get together of the best sounding vehicles from 25 European nations plus an exciting presentation of world leading car media manufacturers turned the Nuremberg Exhibition Centre into an international Mobile Entertainment-Eldorado.
More than 200 competition cars showed up at the fairground for this event highlight. Emerging from the sound championships in their countries, all national first or second placed EMMA competitors were invited to compete and to share an ultimately fun-filled week at the 2011 Eurofinals.
Furthermore 150,000 Consumenta visitors were swarming into hall three of the Nuremberg Expo to experience an exciting aspect of car entertainment pleasure called CarMediaWorld. The Pioneer truck, the Pioneer competition team and a selection of Pioneer’s premium show cars gave a prominent welcome to the car media and competition area by engrossing the first quarter of the car media hall.
While the team of 32 EMMA Judges from 25 nations evaluated the international car media competition armada in the EMMA categories Sound Quality, Multi Media, ESPL and EMMA Racing, the sound off community as well as the fair visitors had the chance to enjoy an extended stage program and lots of glowing examples of perfect in-car infotainment comfort.
Particularly on Saturday and Sunday a crowd of tens of thousands of visitors flocked into the CarMediaWorld and the EMMA area to see and hear what’s cooking in the Car Infotainment market and in Europe’s Sound, Show & Shine scene.
One blazing star at Pioneer’s sound & fun galaxy was the customized MERCEDES VITO SPORT X a joint project of Pioneer UK and Mercedes Benz UK.

This individualized horse powered entertainer is brimmed with amazingly versatile and user friendly car infotainment stuff. Bombastic sound, extended connectivity, convenient navigation, safe and hands free phone calls and Pioneer DJ gear: this unique custom-cruiser has it all!
For the second time winners had not only to be determined at the EMMA finals but also in a competition between various country presentations, where Germany again came up with a little Oktoberfest, including draft beer, sausages and Obazda.
The enthusiasm was huge, but beaten by a contingent of Italian culinary and the exhilarating Russian way of having a great time. At last, when the Vodka-delegation slammed their national anthem, the jury concluded Team Russia as the winner of the country presentation competition. Congrats!
Last but not least the most important winners of this event were – as usual – the EMMA Champions and Vice-Champions. Those kings of car media were crowned at the award ceremony on November 1st and applauded by a huge audience.

No surprise but nonetheless a cause to smile: At the 2011 EMMA Eurofinals Pioneer again confirmed the audiophile potential and the authority of its Team among the car audio community especially those team members who achieved one of the Trophies! Besides the five Champion Cups grabbed by the Team there were still more ‘Pioneer’ winners: 26 trophy winning cars are equipped with Pioneer head units and 33 champions are using Pioneer speakers and/or amplifiers

And here are the videos
First of three parts: Starring UK Pioneer’s Girish Janday. Well, a fabulously mad Russian called Viktor and a fully both-hand drive-equipped car!

And now, a walk through a whole slew of cars on the Team Pioneer stand. The standard is awesome, the camerawork a bit wobbly

And finally, Koen George’ Hooftman the editor of these brilliant clips, gets the camera turned around so we can see him, briefly.
