Stinger’s new beastly batteries

Stinger have new high performance batteries. There are two new products. First, the SPV20, which has a retail price of £99 and is just 3 inches thick! It offers a large 300 amps for a five second burst and is rated at 220 Cold Cranking Amperes. It has a typical life of some 350 cycles at 100% discharge and that is amazingly rugged.

The SP1500D is a much more heavy duty item in power terms and has a retail price £349. It’ll excrete a whopping 1,500 amps worth for it’s five second cranking burst and will create an absurd, buss-bar melting 3,100 amps short circuit current if you were to be so silly. It’s rated at 825 Cold Cranking Amperes and has top-mount terminals plus an extra set of side-mount terminals for flexibility in mounting options..
