TA Loom Up

The test rig for TA just gets better and better – in an effort to be more streamlined and efficient – OK it’s pure laziness, really. However, the set of wiring and bits we have just pinched from the StreetWires stock at BBG is going to make every review easier. Yes, we have an AudioControl SA-3055 RTA and we have a superb battery and 10 Ampere charger from Merlin but now we have the StreetWires cables to rig up any test rig in moments with a dangerously-close-to-sensible safety system.
The set up comprises one brace of fat 1/0 gauge silver and blue power wires with a twin plug-disconnect system for use with 1/0 gauge input amps, plus another pair of 1/0 gauge wires going to a gorgeous StreetWires CBR44S twin live and earth distribution block. From here I have a set of eight gauge wires to forks plus another set going to bootlace crimps for the bare-end connecting amps. Each of these sets of 8gauge has a black and red disconnect system in line as do all the wires from the Merlin Equipment battery charger.

Along with regular red black and blue wires for the ISO plug I was also simply given, I can now rig one, two or more amps up, as well as processors, headunits and most anything we fancy quickly, simply and safely.
