Talk Audio – The New Wave Of Mobile Entertainment

Andy Clift’s report on the Top Gun event at Celsus, complete with snaps of the happening have been put in the pipeline for this week, so you should see that soon. I have the words, pictures and even some video taken at the CASPER event on the same weekend to get sorted for your perusal and there are two reviews awaiting the ‘go’ button. That’d be a Ground Zero ready made bass box and a do-everything-for-less headunit from lesser known brand necvox, the HQ2.
You may have seen their name on screen products in more places than solely car electronics specialists but this beastie has a 16:9 seven inch touch screen, navigation, DVD and a USB slot, all for £699, where that ‘fully loaded’ spec is usually over the grand from the known brands. Read the review and find out why when it’s published. The bass box was as subtle as a flying mallet, by the way.
I kinda liked it.
I’m up to doing the Guinness World RecordTM video now. It will serve as official record in watch-rather-than-read form that associates the participants’ names with this enterprise forever. I cannot tell you how proud I am of you guys and how grateful to our pukka scientists at Vibrock ltd who helped us achieve that toughest of all things. Not ‘merely’ breaking a world record but establishing one in the annals of note, the Guinness Book, when the SPL scene has never been able to due to disagreements in technology involved. Thankfully, Seismology has to be reported globally and so needs true intercontinental standards and that’s what we used!
So as the days draw in and once again folks start to think about what they might build over a winter or are sizing up their repair costs after insane stress in the SPL lanes, now maybe the time to check out the newest Talk Audio advertisers, ICPI. They are providers of extended warranties and can fix stuff you let the smoke out of. Nice people, too.
