New 300 Series from Acoustic Energy
The new 300 Series are a re-design rather than a upgrade. Acoustic Energy is proud to announce the launch of the completely redesigned 300 Series loudspeakers. Building on the insights gained from the highly acclaimed Corinium project, this new product elevates our mid-range product line to unprecedented levels of performance and value.
Comprising the AE300² stand mount, AE309² and AE320² floorstanders along with the AE307² LCR model, the new 300 Series is a testament to Acoustic Energy’s commitment to innovation and excellence. Every component has been meticulously redesigned, without any parts carried over from the previous series.
At the heart of the new 300 Series is an all-new mid-woofer, crafted from a unique blend of paper and coconut husk. This innovative driver delivers a smooth, natural, and refined response, combining warmth and clarity with the dynamic punch of our traditional aluminium cone. Paired with a newly developed soft-dome tweeter derived from the Corinium project, the 300 Series offers open, delicate, and natural high frequencies, ensuring seamless integration across the audible range.
For the first time at this price point, the 300 Series features constrained layer RSC™ (Resonance Suppression Composite) cabinets, a technology pioneered in our Reference Series nearly 15 years ago. This advanced construction significantly reduces cabinet radiation, allowing the drive units to perform without interference and ensure a pure, uncoloured and natural sound. The cabinets have also been slimmed down without adding depth, and the AE307² model features an ultra-shallow sealed box with a passive radiator, offering wall-mounting versatility. The crossover design also draws from techniques developed during the Corinium project, minimising phase distortion and preserving the speakers’ musicality.
Moving away from the high gloss finishes of the previous 300 Series, we have chosen a newly developed, highly durable ‘silk-touch’ matte material with bespoke, colour-coordinated trims, solid aluminium feet (on floor-standing models) and matching premium grille fabrics. The result is a fresh design statement that remains distinctly Acoustic Energy.

Finished in walnut or ‘silk-touch’ matte black or matte white and with prices starting from £649 for the AE3002 up to £1,999 for the AE3202, the new 300 Series loudspeakers are available in the UK from February through authorised Acoustic Energy dealers.
