The sheer fuss the new earbud thing created when Apple decreed its phones were to lose the ancient 3.5mm earphone socket in favour of better use of the internal real estate, was epic! I for one was deeply concerned as the quality of aftermarket specialist transducer makers for tiny headphones is huge and normally, Apple are delighted to engender a whole eco-system of kit to go with their products. And when ten bazillion sets of headphones, with just the right impedance to rock on the weedy output of an iPhone were all made all but obsolete in a stroke, many makers spat their teeth out in anger. But the future is unstoppable and NEW and better earbuds are here this just in (I am asking for a set to try out but may need to use a chum and their iPhone as I am an Android user.)
