Pioneer launches a powerful, space-saving subwoofer perfect for small cars
Pioneer has launched a new ultra-flat amplified subwoofer for in-car use that generates powerful, rich and speedy bass sound without sacrificing boot space.
The TS-WX710A active subwoofer is only 90mm in height and requires an extremely small enclosure, that makes it the ideal subwoofer for small car owners who want the benefits of added bass in their cars, but are not fond of the inconvenience associated with large subwoofer enclosures. With its ultra-flat, anti-scratch design, the new subwoofer can lay flat with luggage stacked on top or stand upright behind the seats.
The TS-WX710A is constructed with great attention to detail, maximising the performance of the 2 x 16cm subwoofers inside. Its space-saving enclosure houses a 200W MOSFET amplifier and features a symmetrical back-loaded horn structure to reproduce rich, vivid and speedy bass; an unexpected sound from a subwoofer this size. Its rigid enclosure with tough polyurethane skin, is anti-scratch, allowing luggage to be placed on top of the subwoofer without damaging it. Removable straps keep the TS-WX710A securely mounted, while still making removal quick and easy if more storage space is required. The new subwoofer comes with a wired remote to easily tailor the sound to the car.
