Vibe Critical Link Bass Wiring Kit 4 Gauge

Complete wiring kit with four gauge cable and one end ready terminated on the lengths for live and earth, the others ready to cut to length once installed/measured. This set has a circuit breaker rather than a fuse, rated at 140A. This is branded as are the RCA plugs and the cables. The speaker cable is the Vibe FLAT type. Despite using American Wire Gauge as we are all familiar with it for diameters of the main wires, they use metres to describe the linear dimensions.

More compact and more prettily packed than all the others, with a neat bedding piece showing an example of each termination at the front of the pack. The wires are coiled neatly as a sleeping snake to do this as one end of the RCA has a set of right angle plugs and one end has the regular straight ones but you can see one of each at the front. With no shadow of a doubt the RCA connects, both in cable and plugs are superior to any in this group. The cable is fat and well shielded, the plugs are made from turned lumps of actual metal and the weighty right angle plugs are gold plated. Gorgeous and all Vibe branded.
Also, the speaker wire for the bass end is just awesome. Meaty yet flat in profile, this stuff would sell like flippery in the home market as there are up to seven speakers now needed all round the room in a cinema install and this stuff is lovely.
Even the four gauge is flattened, with a measurement of 10.75mm by 7.5mm outside and with an 8.5mm by 4.5mm conductor in the middle, rather than being round, so there’s plenty of metal. This is also the only system to supply a circuit breaker which means never needing spare fuses if something daft does happen and your breakable link is needed. The card in the pack is very busily printed on the reverse and has more information there about the product and others than any other we saw. It has some of the big crimps pre-fitted as with the more user-friendly sets.
