Week Eighteen MIAMI BAAAAAAABY!
You know, I used pretty much verbatim the column I wrote here, last week, for my dad’s funeral. All three offspring spoke and it was what it was. My brother also recycled material and it was annoyingly better than mine, although you could just say it was a different style
Anyway, despite it being just two days afteras in tomorrow, as I write, I am going to Miami with JL Audio and it is just what I need to distract me. I am taking cameras and am planning to hose down the Bass Mekanik and DJ Billy E in their bass recording studio and mad ass bass van.
But the reason for going is the coolest thing, for SoBe, (or South Beach, Miami, just needs the word , ‘Baby’ said after it) is the home of windows down car audio, the southern states of the USA and it is where JL live. I am tagging along with the dealer trip to take blackmail-grade goshawful photos of the lads in party mode and I want to really get to grips with the tech guys at JL and ask ‘˜em hardcore speakery things.. like.. ‘How many watts, Mate?’ Seriously, I am badly professionally erect over this one.
As far as I am concerned the portals above, lead to a hallowed land of grown ups who like FUN!
And I dig that.
OK, the owe list is kept to the non-time sensitive. You will STILL get horny for a £600k Lambo Mansory Aventador. You will still want to hear from world class installers in the Philippines and learn how Eire is now home to a top end Brit sound off lad! The Gadget show live was a laugh and I got some nice shots, so you will get to see them as service is returned to normal. BUT first, I am getting on the plane with a serious quantity of British-tastes tea,
And some Marmite. (all for the Bass Mekanik et famile!) I will be posting as much as I can, so check in here and look soon!
